Turning flat into pitched
A flat roof that keeps failing can be replaced with a pitched roof. The timber hip roof in the photo was framed on top of an old flat roof, ready for boarding, underlay and tiles. Pitched roofs shed water instead of holding it. Planning permission may be needed, so we'll talk it through before anything starts.
Edges and upstands
Flat roofs mostly leak at their junctions: walls, rooflights, pipes and edges. On new flat roofs those details are formed carefully, like the rooflight upstand pictured.

GRP fibreglass gives a hard, seamless finish; EPDM rubber is a single flexible sheet that copes well with movement. We'll recommend the right one for your roof.
Can you convert my flat roof to pitched?
Yes. We frame and cover a pitched roof over the existing flat roof. Check planning rules first, as the height changes.
